About the project

On Sunday 4th June a team from Kings Church are taking on an 18-mile hike to raise money to fund our children’s summer camp – Wild and Free!

The walk will take us roughly 6 hours, but our team are ready to do whatever it takes so that we can support as many children to be able to go to Wild and Free as possible.

We’d love it if you could support our team in their efforts by donating to this cause, and leaving a message of encouragement below.

The response from the community to Kings Church’s fundraising initiative for the children’s summer camp, Wild and Free, has been overwhelming. The news of the team’s 18-mile hike to raise funds spread like wildfire, and people from all walks of life came forward to lend their support.

As the day of the hike approached, the team members felt a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation.

They knew it wouldn’t be an easy feat, but their determination to provide an unforgettable experience for the children motivated them to push through any obstacles they might encounter.

On the morning of June 4th, the team gathered at the starting point, their energy contagious and spirits high. Each team member had prepared extensively for the hike, both physically and mentally, aware that the success of their fundraising campaign rested on their collective efforts.
